Because there have been “kids these days” almost since the beginning of time.

“People who complain about today’s generation forget who raised it”

    #1097321

    But I didn’t raise it. 🙂

    Then why did you complain?

    #1097323

Raising the generation was not mentioned as a cause for complaint.

However, I assumed that the saying whose quotation I was responding to is meant to imply that it is often those who raised the generation who complain about it, to which I responded that that was not the case here.

(The smiley was to indicate awareness that the one quoting the saying did not actually mean to imply that it was the case here.)

In time this generation will be the ones saying “Kids these days”. Respect for children is nonexistent.

The problem with kids these days is that school is in the air

    #1097327

the problem with kids of todays generation is:

Parents don’t make their children’s chinuch the #1 priority of their children, they spoil them with the tumahs of todays technology-when they really don’t need it-& give then everything the child cry’s for so really the children are the boss.

when we were kids our parents never hesitated to hit their children or punish in a different way cause they knew it was for their child’s benefit of chinuch so s/he doesn’t C”V go on the wrong path. today as parents were to afraid to say know to our child you are not getting a cell phone or fancy toy. you are still a kid & don’t need a phone & you have enough toys already. we spoil them with everything…..

AND THAT IS THE WRONG WAY OF CHINUCH HABONIM….

That’s so funny. Because the people I know whose parents “spoiled” them as kids are doing so much better now than the people whose parents never hesitated to hit them.

I could understand misspelling “know” as “no” but vice versa?!
