I have loads of appliances on the counters and loads of baking and cooking paraphernalia in my kitchen (pots, pans, bowls, measuring cups, asst mixing bowls, scale, scoops in asst sizes, food decorating tools, etc), all that I use regularly.

How do I cut down on clutter and remember where I put everything? My kitchen is average size and every cabinet is full. I dont want to keep kitchen stuff in any other room, nor do I have extra room elsewhere.

    Tips please.

Put pegboards and hooks on the walls or cabinet doors, then hang the stuff from that. Do you have exposed ceiling beams from which to hang things?

Start a gmach, and lend stuff (do you have duplicates of certain equipment?) out. Just make sure you know who borrows it so you can go over and get it back when you need it.:)

um, Put pegboards and hooks on the walls or cabinet doors, then hang the stuff from that.

Kitchen is wall to wall appliances and cabinets. Not an extra inch.

Do you have space a bit higher up for extra shelves?

My question is if I have an average size kitchen and dont think I have that much more stuff than others, why am I so short of storage space?

There’s an article in the current Weekly Link (Aug 17, page 96) on exactly this issue. The title is “Simple Steps to Organizing Your Kitchen.”
