    Would they understand our conversations? Here are some examples that ppl who have left this world 20yrs ago or more would have trouble with- and also some of there answers:

    Google it. (Huh?)

    I’m going on line to shop.(Oh, at which store? I’ll meet you there.)

    I’m texting my friend. (You’re whatting?)

    I’m gonna check my email. (I don’t think the mail truck came yet.)

    I’m saving it to my cloud. (uh huh, right- you have your own cloud)

    I’m twittering, tweeting, poking, facebooking, etc. (What language are you talking?)

    Now here’s something they would totally freak out if they saw in writing.

    Hi. How r u? I’m g2g2 the store now. C U L8r. Have a gr8 day. <3

    They would seriously question our educational system these days. Anyone else have any good conversations to share?

    Hey- I’m bored. It’s negative 14 with wind chills of negative 50. So I just thought I’d start a thread that might be fun.

    oomis – I’m not being philosophical or spiritual here. This is supposed to be a funny thread. Just to show how our language has changed so much because of computers, technology, etc. that ppl from the past would have no idea what we are talking about.

    Like if you would say to them “I’m starting a thread on YWN coffee room” – what would they think we are talking about? They would look at us like we’re from another planet.

    When its that cold, the only thing to do is get wasted so you dont feel it. Or to build a fire. This thread proves that the former is more likely.
