If you were a sandwich…what would you be?
Filler? Bread? Open/closed? Fattening? Gooey? Dry?
??????????????????????????????????????????????????
February 15, 2013 6:00 am at 6:00 am #930015Torah613TorahParticipantI refuse to be a sandwich. I’m on a roll.
February 15, 2013 6:21 am at 6:21 am #930016☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantBaloney or pastrami. Whatever you want.
February 15, 2013 6:25 am at 6:25 am #930017NechomahParticipantI have two options, can’t decides – either a Ruben – corned beef with mustard and cole slaw and pickle on rye, or a tuna in a baguette with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and cucumbers (don’t kill the tuna with too much mayo, but it has to be enough so that the bread is not dry, so use diet mayo) Those are for sure my favorite sandwiches.

Is a sandwich in a roll not a sandwich?
February 15, 2013 6:37 am at 6:37 am #930020NechomahParticipantWIY – If you’re talking to me, do you know when was the last time I had a Ruben? Around 20+ years ago when I lived in the US. Not available over here for me (probably is for people who eat different hechsherim). I am making corned beef for Purim and am having some cole slaw available. I hope to make some kind of semblance of a Ruben – I still remember it was soooo yummy.
I think a tuna baguette is great to get in a bakery here, especially if you’re on a diet, but unfortunately it is sooooo full of mayo, it totally ruins the dietetic quality. There is a very low cal mayo here that I never even saw in US. It’s pretty good as far as I’m concerned, but pretty expensive, so no stores use it.
Don’t you have any favorite foods? (Don’t mean to take the threat off topic.)
