Imagine having a conversation with someone the way it’s done here. Someone asks you something, mods post it an hour later, you get to read it even later, think how to formulate an answer, then actually post it.
Like waking up on the morning and meeting an acquaintance, you say “actually, yes”. “Huh?!?” “Didn’t you ask me something two and a half days ago?”
