I need to replace the battery on a second generation nano. anyone out there know where I can get this done in Brooklyn?
While we’re at it, does anyone know where I can get an ipod fixed in Brooklyn? It doesn’t turn on…
I did a little research, and it seems the battery can be bought online for about $15. Has anyone tried replacing the battery on their own? It looks a little tricky.
Wow it’s been a while since i last posted! Shrek- To replace the battery on a iPod touch you need to open up the iPod and carefully remove the battery which should be connected to 2 wires that you should just pull off carefully. Than put the new battery in the place of the old one and solder the wires back on. I assume it’s fairly similar by a nano. Look it up on youtube there are always good instructions there.
i bought a replacement battery for my ipod online but im scared to change it myself bec im prone to messing things up…. but it seems easy enough if you read the intructions! good luck!
