Or is it better to have one who’s completely neutral.
January 24, 2021 5:22 pm at 5:22 pm #1941957ParticipantParticipantit’s neutral to have a president good for the Jews.
January 24, 2021 6:49 pm at 6:49 pm #1941970GadolhadorahParticipantWhat about a goiyeshe president who has historically been a supporter of EY (with some policy differences) but whose Chief of staff, Secretaries of Treasury and State and Attorney General identify as Jewish (not the thread to debate who is technically a Yid).
January 24, 2021 7:48 pm at 7:48 pm #1941987dovrosenbaumParticipantNo. We need a president who will get us out of galus faster.
I fear a leftist administration with too many Jews. The problem is that the goyim brush us all with one stroke. So if people like Schumer and Yellin destroy America, the goyim will take it out on frum Jews, and not confine their blame to the secularists and fake chiloni “Joos” who vote Democrat.
January 24, 2021 9:20 pm at 9:20 pm #1942013ujmParticipantThe best is a got who is a friend of the Jews. Having a Jewish politician is bad any way you cut it.
January 26, 2021 3:15 pm at 3:15 pm #1942723hujuParticipantTo the opening poster: Your question is tautological (or, perhaps, a clever play on words). A better question would be, what does it take for a US president to be good for the Jews.
Here are some things that are not good for the Jews:
1. Stirring up anti-Semites and making them think they have the support of the US president.
2. Alienating US allies.
3. A do-nothing response to a pandemic that sickens Jews, and others, and weakens the US economy.
4. Encouraging an armed assault on the US Capitol.
5. Attempting to overthrow the results of a US election.
January 26, 2021 3:53 pm at 3:53 pm #1942742Shalom-al-IsraelParticipantI didn’t understand the title. You mean if the president professes sympathy to Jewish victims (as a whole, as individuals as image, etc.) in public?
What on earth is “neutral” in the Galut?
January 26, 2021 4:51 pm at 4:51 pm #1942763HealthParticipantHuju -“Alienating US allies”
Obviously you don’t think Israel is an US ally.
Because if you did – you would have posted that Obama alienated Israel with all his Foreign Policies!
So who do you think is the US allies? Iran? China?January 26, 2021 8:19 pm at 8:19 pm #1942829hujuParticipantTo Health: I did not purport to identify any US allies, and there is absolutely no basis for what you think I “obviously” think. Since you asked, some US allies at the present time or within the last 10 years are United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Germany, Canada, and Czech Republic. If the US wants to come to the defense of Israel, militarily or politically, it will be more effective if the US has allies.
January 26, 2021 10:28 pm at 10:28 pm #1942839ujmParticipanthuju: If you weren’t a victim of the media, believing the lies they repeatedly spew, you would’ve known that none of your points is applicable.

In your Monologue – you forgot to Mention that Trump never alienated any foreign country. As a Matter of fact, he made peace with the US & N.K.
That’s not a small feat! While OTOH, Germany and I think another foreign country, said the DemonCrats with their Censorship, right now, is Very Wrong.

He made inroads with N.K., that has Never occurred since their Commy revolution.
If he would have been sworn in as President this term, he would have continued to make peace with N.K.January 27, 2021 3:42 pm at 3:42 pm #1943068âď¸coffee addictParticipantâHe made inroads with N.K., that has Never occurred since their Commy revolution.â

That’s the main word “tried”.
