Please share the most annoying things that bother you when interacting with others. On the top of my list , when on the phone with someone and you are trying to have a converstaion with the other person, and its quite apparent that he or she is reading an email or concentrating on something else. That really bugs me
Much worse when speaking to them and they are busy texting or reading email on their phone. People have short attention spans these days.
It’s not short attention spans, it’s called multitasking 😉

When you’re bang-smack in the middle of talking to someone and they answer the phone without telling you first.
Their phone is in their pocket on vibrate, so you don’t hear it ring. You’re in the middle of a perfectly good conversation when this person suddenly, out of nowhere, whips his phone out and answers it “HELLO”.
That’s very rude. He doesn’t need permission to answer his phone, but it would be courteous to say “oh one minute please” before he does..
worst yet when they call but are in middle of a conversation with the person next to them and don’t even realize you’ve answered their call
How about when they click on the wrong contact and barely bother to wait for your “hello” before launching into a tirade. So, you sit there hearing about all their family politics until five minutes later they pause for breath and…realize your voice is way too deep to be their wife`s.
It’s annoying and it bothers me when people don’t follow the proper ‘three feet rule’ when talking to people. There is no such thing as one inch.
It is quite annoying when I post a perfectly legitimate question on a thread started by a moderator with the intention of receiving a response from that moderator and then he removes my post AND THEN ignores me!
When someone telephones me and when I answer they say, “Oh, you’re home!”.
Can anyone tell me how to give myself a subtitle? Thanks.
You can’t.
Ferd on Drugs, he’s messing with you. You can’t give yourself a subtitle. You need to go to the Change Subtitles thread and request one. The proper (and most successful) format is as follows:
“Heilige Sarah/Mod 127, thanks for being so amazing. Please can you change my subtitle to _____________________________________? 😀 Thank you in advance!!”
Then, you pray that 73 doesn’t catch sight of it and decide to have some fun.

Thanks for the feedback. -and BTW, I am not pleased with the subtitle that I have been given. It is terribly inaccurate! I haven’t been on a horse in over 20 years! 🙂

Not necessarily shnitzy! Depends how much you annoy the mods 😉 I’m pretty happy with mine!
1) Answering or speaking on a phone call via speakerphone – very inconsiderate.
2) A business answering a phone with “Hello” and not identifying the name of the business.
3) When passing someone on the sidewalk and the person would rather look down at the pavement instead of saying “Good Morning”, “Hello”, etc.
Interesting how so many of the annoying things listed have to do with the telephone or cellphone.

1) Not if you say right when you pick up “hi, you’re on speaker phone. I lost my handset/ am in middle of washing dishes/ accidentally smashed my ear with a hammer. Would you like me to call you back later?
