Might be a silly question, but does anyone know any sources or discussion on this?
Thank you in advance.
I don’t know any source that it is a segulah for parnassah, but it is a mitzvah mideoraysa. Is that good enough?
Shaking the lulav in COMBINATION with getting a good education and job skills has repeatedly been shown to increase the likelihood of earning a good parnassah. Shaking the lulav alone may not yield such outcomes (sort of like taking hydroxychloroquine without the zinc).
Leiby Wasser There was no mitzvah deoraysa this year on arba minim. Md is only first day and this year was Shabbos. Otherwise it is zecher to Bais HaMikdash where it was md everyday.
It is a segula for parnassa for those who sell them.
It is only a deorayso if a mitzvo derabonon makes it a deorayso because mideorayso just taken it without shaking it is enough. mideagbeh nofek beh.
