My doctor says that no matter how many vitamin C tablets you crush and mix into your salad, it doesn’t become an effective cold remedy. What salad recipe can cure a cold?January 31, 2019 9:26 pm at 9:26 pm #1672221MenoParticipant

Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Keep a clean house. Stay away from sick people. Practice scrupulous personal hygiene. And if you won’t feel right until you take a pill… supplement your Vitamin C tablets with Echinacea AFTER you consult with your doctor, pharmacist or other health care provider.January 31, 2019 11:22 pm at 11:22 pm #1672247GadolhadorahParticipant
Mariana provides a great checklist of food supplements and personal hygiene tips that may help ward off the comone cold or reduce its affects. However, RY seems to be in search of a serious heimeshe cure that has both medicinal and spiritual properties. In that regard, there is only one option: a cold chulunt salad made with lots of Thursday night leftovers from the yeshiva dorm lounge refrigerator mixed with several fresh garlic cloves and lots of sweeeeeet ungarishe kugel. Add a few parsely leaves to complete the green “salad” and be assured of your immunity from the “common” cold. However, there is no long-term clinical data as to possible gastronomic and cardiovascular side effects,.January 31, 2019 11:23 pm at 11:23 pm #1672240
I don’t think washing my hands into the salad is a good idea.February 1, 2019 7:19 am at 7:19 am #1672271Mariana SantosParticipant
It must be done quick and stealthy like, RebYidd… because how else does one know they have gotten the oil to vinegar to salt ratio correct if not by the swishing and licking of fingers through the salad bowl? For your own health and well being you should make the licking off of the fingers quick and stealthy like as well..February 1, 2019 7:20 am at 7:20 am #1672274knaidlachParticipant

Vitamins are fine, they’re just no substitute for medicine.
