Log-ins are correct, but the displayed names don’t match the log-in. This is a software flaw and should be easy to fix. The table that links accounts to display names is apprently juggled by a fixed amount (since each account gets the same “wrong” display time each time – showing it isn’t a random error).
This is unlikely to be caused by a hacker
It’s not a software flaw, it’s a deliberate prank by a mod in honor of Purim.
Yeah, I think it’s a prank because I’m showing up as my friend Feif Un!
So who REALLY is posting?
I’m DaMoshe, if you haven’t figured it out!
This is so weird!!
You think hackers are borted with thier livves??????
It’s the mods!
You’re still you.
Just Checking to see if it’s universal.
So Person posting whose name comes up as oomis (that is I), are you really akuperman or yet a third entity?
Posted by the real oomis, currently aka akuperman
It isn’t a broken index table but rather a newly installed algorithm developed by Google that reads everyone’s historical posts and determines which posters share the same views as another and then automatically swaps their identities.
Clearly akuperma and oomis have shared views in the same ideological spectrum.
Oomis/akuperma (akuperma/oomis?), http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/profile/akuperma currently comes up with name oomis.
Oops, I mean DY.
Aahh! I can finally say what I please without thinking which of my usernames’ characters to best use!
Is it also a purim prank that I cannot log in at all today as oomis? It was only by accident that I was able to access the site to send you this post. I enjoy a good joke, but this is not fun anymore. If it’s a web issue, can you please fix it?
