to honk in New York City!
Yesterday I learned that, generally speaking, it’s illegal to just honk one’s horn in New York for some frivolous reason.
Does this no-honking policy extend to Jewish communities in the proximity as well?

Some high traffic areas of Manhattan have no honking signs. It’s so the neighbors don’t suffer all day from drivers with no patience who honk their horns in standstill traffic because somehow they think that will get all the cars moving. I don’t think it is illegal in all of NYC, but I could be out of date, it’s been a long time since I have been there.
