It’s so NOT me. A serious question!

How does one overcome jet lag?

DO NOT nap after your flight!! wait as late as you can into the night (after 9..)

If it is not manageable then take a power nap- max a half hour, then wait up as late as you can..

xerox: Thank for answering. I’m terribly miserable. I slept for about 12 hours, before reading your answer. Still feel lousy.

I am getting ready to travel in about 10 days from EY to NY!! On the one hand I am very excited, but also nervous for the jetlag!!! Not just me but my little ones too!!!

Any plane tips and jetlag advice would be appreciated!!

Plane, that I may help. Make sure you get the middle cradle seats. Nurse or feed upon takeoff and landing. If it’s a night flight try to keep them up until they’re on-board.

Nurse or feed upon takeoff and landing.

Obviously after the seatbelt sign is off so you can go nurse in the bathroom.

Oh No! Here starts that one! OK. For political correctness, nurse if near female, bottle-feed if near male.

    Don’t take overnight flights.

Seriously, you can get to Israel without an overnight flight. Take a day flight from NY to London, UK, and spend the night in the UK before traveling to Israel the next day.
