my friend is a very good writer. is there something wrong with her writing about murders…..
only if he glorefies them.
TBL ROX; If someone is a good writer, they can channel their talents to write dramatic stories that have a happy ending and a lesson to be learned. Writing a dramatic story about murder is glorifying it. A person with feelings of compassion (Rachmanus) is abhorred, rather than entertained by murder.
why can’t she just write about people doing mitzvos and chesed and living happily ever after. she’d have a bestseller.
why do all jewish books have to be about some one who cant find her/his shidduch. or someone who cant have children…. the really good books r from 10, 11 years ago when the writers wrote abt guys on the run or guys accused of something…( chaim eliav, yair weinstock and more)
When I write something funny,I chuckle to myself.
When I write something sad,I have tears in my eyes.
If I wrote about murder,I think I’d scare myself.
I’m no expert on this stuff or anything, but i guess that what people write is a way of channeling their thoughts and emotions out of their heads and onto paper.
