    Anyone know any Jewish Music on the edge of the Jewish Music scene? Like amazing singers or writers not well known? Please list them here and ways to get there music! I love collecting songs from camps, random people and all sorts of other places that aren’t publicized…those songs are always the best!!!

    Here is what I know:

    -Julia Blum

    -Chanale

    -Mesorah Girls Choir

    -Sincerely Me (which was taken down…anyone have it?)

    -Avi Abrams

    -There’s a place in my mind

    -Random Camps and schools

    -Aryeh Kunstler

    Any more?

    go onto mostly music and look at all the artists, I haven’t heard of half of them! Chanale is pretty well known, but being that she’s a woman, her audience is limited 🙂

    in my opinion a lot of what passes for todays jewish music is no longer on the edge. it has fallen way off.

    I get all these random songs from camps and schools.

    Recently I just got sent the song called Goodbye.

    itunes tells me its by Chayala Hartstien.

    I quick google, nothing shows up. How can these amazing songs pass under the radar? And why is itunes able to know? If it’s not a CD actually sold? And how does it know there are 19 tracks? How can I get the other 18?

    Anyone have the whole lyrics for it? The begining is low and Ican’t figure it out.

    The chorus is:

    Shlomie Kaufman, Zevi Kaufman = I agree that Avi Abrams and Aryeh Kunstler are very good. Avi and Zevi did a song together

    People can probably google their names or search mostly music or itunes

    Tell me, can you at least write here the names of the songs you have, who sings them (if possible)/what school or camp there are from. That way I can at least know what to search for and to ask people for…
