Why were the Jews expelled from England?
Because the English didn’t like to be reminded that there is a G-d and that you therefore need to live a moral life.

The Evangelicals to the extent they existed in the middle ages were routinely burned at the stake as heretics. While some Protestants (e.g. the Episcopalians) started as “break aways” from the Catholic Church, ones such as the Baptists, Mormons, and most of the ones we find to be a bit “funny” started as independent groups. It’s not surprising that while we sometimes have problems with the Protestant establishment (not to mention the frei Jews), we rarely have any problems with the “holy rollers” types. America is “exceptional” in that the religious movements that developed are not only not especially anti-Jewish, but also have developed totally independent of, and sometimes with opposition from, the government.
Jews in the US tend to live where the Catholics live not where the Holy Rollers live. I think thats because the Jews Came to the US at the same time as the Irish and Italians did (who are Catholic)
For the most part there arent many jews who live in the Bible Belt.
Many Evangelicals dont consider Mormons to even be chrstian, It is issue with Romney as some quietly in the GOP are saying that (Not a political issue here, just a fact) Rick Perry brought it up

They are both anti-semites. The Catholics did the Crusades, Inquisition etc. Protestantism was formed by a guy who thought they should burn down all the Jewish homes and shuls and take away all the money from the Jews.

I have always wondered why christians Halachily are grouped, since they do not all have the same beliefs
For example
There is a group called Unitarians who do NOT belive in the trinity, Would you be allowed to go into a unitarian church (Like you can into a Mosque)
Icons are only in Catholic , Lutheran and Episcopalian (Angilcan) so the others dont have Statues and some of their churches are rather plain
Keep in mind that anti-Semitism was caused by many things. Religion might have been one of them. Either way, religion was definitely used as a means of inciting and unifying the masses. Today’s anti-Semites are mostly non believers. They use news and other media to propagate their ideas.
