K so heres da story so I was chosen with another girl to do a quotable quote….You need 2 think of a quote and then do a game or sumfin..any ideas?? So I think I wanna do the quote about like dont wait 4 the storm 2 end instead Dance sumfin like tht…Any ideas I cud do with tht quote?
Something like “When life gives you lemons make lemonade”? Can you do this in real, maybe a race who can squeeze most or maybe enlarge a bottle to make it massive and either throw something to hit a certain point or make it calmer …….. something like this or have i missed the point?! Do you mean the quote, “Its not about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to dance in the rain” something like that?
your idea for a quote was total gibberish so i’ll suggest one:
“whether you think you can or you think you cant…you’re right!”
(translation for 8th graders: its all in your attitude)

I always like the quote, “If your nose runs, and your feet smell; you are upside down.”
The game could be to demonstrate the quote and then demonstrate the correction of that quote, which should be easy because they would be the same demonstration. Does that make sense?
Another great quote from a great Jewish source, is this: “Last night I dreamed I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into my pajamas, I will never know.”
Now, prop-wise, it may be difficult to get the materials/elephant you would need to do something hands-on with that in the classroom. It would be fun, though.
You can play that balloon dance game while playing duck duck goose with water! 😀 I dont know how that would work out though.
