What heter is there to skip korbonos at the beginning of Shachris in the morning?
October 6, 2011 2:22 am at 2:22 am #815078popa_bar_abbaParticipantFirst tell me what the chiyuv is to say it.
October 6, 2011 2:27 am at 2:27 am #815079am yisrael chaiParticipantNo Bais Hamikdash…
October 6, 2011 2:27 am at 2:27 am #815080JotharMemberWhat’s the issur?
October 6, 2011 2:39 am at 2:39 am #815081gregaaronMemberOkay, to play devil’s advocate…what chiyuv is there to say korbonos in the first place, that there needs to be a heter not to say them?
October 6, 2011 2:44 am at 2:44 am #815082amusedParticipantShulchan Aruch.
October 6, 2011 3:06 am at 3:06 am #815083Sam2ParticipantYou have to understand what the SH”A means when he says something. If it’s just a Middas Chassidus (or equivalent) then there wouldn’t be a Chiyuv to say it, just a very strong good reason to.
October 6, 2011 8:17 pm at 8:17 pm #815084shlishiMemberDoes S”A say it is only a Middas Chassidus?
October 6, 2011 8:54 pm at 8:54 pm #815085BaalHaboozeParticipantI once asked my Rosh Yeshiva if I should say korbonos every day, he told me to say at least one shtikel -korbon Tomid. So that is what I say every day.
October 6, 2011 10:02 pm at 10:02 pm #815088littleappleMemberReasons to say korbonos; a- instituted by Chazal ,
b- if one did not learn anything for the rest of the day it covers minimum chiyuv of chumash, mishna, gem.,
c – al pi Zohar it is the 1st of the 4 parts of shacharis that are kneged the guf, nefesh, ruach and neshama. (try getting thru the day with just a nefesh, ruach and neshama) on the other hand maybe not a bad idea that last one.
October 7, 2011 12:47 am at 12:47 am #815089ItcheSrulikMemberIn a way it works as mussar. It tells us a few things:
“This is the way things are supposed to be. This is what Jews are supposed to be doing. The life we live, even our holiest ruchniyus is not lechatchila.”
And then asks us “How badly do we really want it?”
October 7, 2011 10:24 am at 10:24 am #815090Shticky GuyParticipantIt is a real pity that we come to shul in order to come closer to Hashem, and the first thing we sacrifice is Korbonos!!
