Lets discuss the reason for Korbonos, as we are now in Vayikrah.
Imagine a scenario where the Beis Hamikdash would not have been destroyed, and we still practice Korbonos, while the gentiles stand around us and watch, in this day and age.
Any thoughts?Just like one of the reasons given (רבינו בחיי) is that it is a refutation of idol worship, today too it would the the wild ideas bounced around.

In our times, the Mainstream News Media relentlessly attacks: the State of Israel and also Orthodox Jews and Orthodox Judaism.
If the Beth HaMikdash were fully-functional today, then the Mainstream News Media would attack it relentlessly. There would be many attack-articles (also known as Hit-Pieces) about cruel Jews slaughtering innocent animals.

Many organizations around the world would boycott any business that sells things to the Beth HaMikdash, and also boycott any person who works the Beth HaMikdash.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) would issue arrest warrants against the people who work in the Beth HaMikdash for slaughtering innocent animals, and any other accusation they could think of.
The attack-articles, and the protests, and the condemnations, and the boycotts would be 365 days a year, and endless.

When it comes to korbonos we don’t say סתמא לשמה the machshava, thought matters as we see from pigul. Maybe according to the Rambam the goyim also sacrificed so it matters to do it לשם שמים. It says זבחי אלקים רוח נשברה the broken heart is what is being sacrificed. Currently when we have no korbonos, לב נשבר ונדכה אלקים לא תבזה Hashem does not forsake a broken and bend heart.
It says אדם כי יקריב מכם קרבן it should have said כי יקריב אדם מכם קרבן telling us to sacrifice ourselves with the korbon as Adam Harishon and Havel did. It says והבל הביא גם הוא explains the holy Alshich that he brought himself with the korbon.Dear Square,
Why do you feel like the mainstream media, the UN, the ICC, and commonsaychel, are all biased against you? Similarly, why do you think anybody cares what Chananya Weissman thinks about shidduchim?
Anybody is holding in our days by the Rambam that karbonos are due to our weakness?
By the time Moishiach arrives and has completed all the necessary Environmental Impact Statements and obtained all the required building permits to complete construction of Bayis Shalishi, we will be doing korbonos virtually in the Metaverse.
They would protest that a Korban shelemim actually identified as being a korban chatas and the kohen did t have this in mind during the avodah, rendering it posul.

If we had continued doing korbonos, the Christians probably would have done so as well, so it wouldn’t be an issue. When korbonos are resumed, it will mean the Bayis was rebuilt, the medinah closed down for good and a Jewish malchus restored, and we won’t be having any problems from the goyim.
The Rav Kaftor Voferach brings from Rebbe Chaim from Paris (a Baalei Tosfas) that he wanted to currently sacrifice a Korban Pesach. There is a big discussion between the Chasam Sofer and Rebbe Akiva Eigar how he could overcome all the conditions to be able to bring it. The Chasan Sofer in Avodas Hayom questions why not Tamid? He answers that shekalim, creating unity is necessary which is currently not available. Maybe this is the reason that Meseches Shekalim is included in the Daf Yomi as it reflects the redemption and rebuilding of the Beis Hamikdash.
Moschiach will overrule all building permit limitations before doing any constructions. That is what Rambam means that life will be the same under Moschiach except the Jews will have no restrictions and zoning limitations. I don’t think there will be PETA hatred or riots about them in Israel when We all do teshuva and the 3rd bais hamikdosh is rebuilt.
