Does anyone know how to play kugelach past the 3rd Cheilek?
I never got that far without cheating. So I’m not the person to ask. Ask my brothers.
I think that once you reach the 3rd chelek you have to go back into shul because the rav’s drasha is over and they are starting mussaf.
I’m disappointed. Typically I try to withhold expectations, but this time I really thought that I was opening a thread about food.

When we make kugel in cupcake tins we call them kugelach and they taste fabulous.

It’s good if you prefer kugel because that leaves more rugelach for the taking… seriously though, even if it was soft warm chocolate or raspberry rugelach fresh from the bakery?
potato kugel. I’m not such a big fan of rugelach. Maybe if it’s fresh from the bakery and warm. I guess most rugelach I eat is not.
Rugelach are prettier than kugel.

It just reminds me of a story about a kid who “ran away from home” all the way to his grandmother’s house because he was upset when his mother punished him by taking away his kugelach. Grandmother could not understand how mother could be so cruel as to deny her son a piece of kugel.
