Sh.. Mommy’s not looking.
I didn’t sleep too much last night (as evidenced by my posts).
I feel very jittery and humorous, lightheaded and funny. My kids love me in this state. My heart feels like it’s racing out of control.
What’s your take. What does lack of sleep bring out in you?

Lack of sleep for me(which is the usual), is BAD BAD BAD.
It sometimes brings out the worst of me which I didn’t even know exists….

February 18, 2011 5:24 pm at 5:24 pm #742292ha ha ha haMemberi always had my friends ask me not to go to sleep cause when i’m tired i can do the wackiest things that i would never do if my head was on straight!!!
February 18, 2011 5:48 pm at 5:48 pm #742293GuardmytongueMemberLack of sleep is my middle name. Used to make me fun and really goofy, many little kids later it made my fuse shorter (mostly just at bed time), now that I’m older it makes me tired. After two decades without much full nights of sleep, I don’t really expect I’ll ever catch up but it was worth every disrupted night. Now that my kids are growing I’m finding myself with more daytime energy to work off of, though.
When you are sleepless, do you ever peek in on your kids when they are sleeping? It melts my heart.
(I should add that sleeplessness has also made me really tangential. Lots of parentheses)

February 18, 2011 6:39 pm at 6:39 pm #742295TumsMemberSleep little, as everyone will get to catch up on all the sleep they need in the cemetery. It is for an eternity.

February 20, 2011 7:15 am at 7:15 am #742302observanteenMemberI talk without end, and my funny side is revealed. And of course, I fall asleep during class. My classmates were having fun one day and the teacher was yelling at the top of her lungs. Finally, she shrieked: “Girls! Quite down! If not for me, at least don’t interrupt observe’s sleep!”
