I would like to ask for your input on who may be the tzaddikim of our current generation. I am compiling a list of tzaddikim I would like to visit for brachos.
June 11, 2013 3:27 am at 3:27 am #958392Oh Shreck!ParticipantSince we’re all (supposedly) anonymous and hidden here, I’ll volunteer.

June 11, 2013 4:09 am at 4:09 am #958394ahava282ParticipantThank you Oh Shrek!, can you post here on YW?
June 11, 2013 5:34 am at 5:34 am #958395Oh Shreck!ParticipantNo, you got me wrong. The Lamed Vav (Tzadikim) are 36 HIDDEN ones. I volunteered to be one, since I’m (supposedly) hidden here.
June 11, 2013 5:53 am at 5:53 am #958396ahava282ParticipantAny suggestions??

Seems I forgot. It was an attempt at humor. I’m really a serious personality (deep, deep down), sometimes I get carried away (where) and I write something humorous.
June 11, 2013 6:15 am at 6:15 am #958398HaLeiViParticipantAre you looking for the Ayli B’Lo Bar necessarily?
June 11, 2013 12:13 pm at 12:13 pm #958399oomisParticipantWe don’t know who they are – – they’re hidden.
June 11, 2013 1:24 pm at 1:24 pm #958400gefenParticipantOh Schreck! I got your joke (by your first post) and thought it was funny. It’s good to be humorous sometimes.
June 11, 2013 2:13 pm at 2:13 pm #958401🐵 ⌨ GamanitParticipantActually, it doesn’t say in any reputable source that the lamed vav tzaddikim are hidden. It says that there are 36 tzaddikim in each generation that support the world. People just came to the conclusion that they must be hidden because none of the people they had heard of seemed holy enough to support the world. I can think of at least ten…
June 11, 2013 2:32 pm at 2:32 pm #958402ahava282ParticipantWhat is Ayli B’Lo Bar mean exactly HaLevi? I just want names of tzaddikim to visit for brachos.
June 11, 2013 3:21 pm at 3:21 pm #958403Oh Shreck!ParticipantAhava, For instance one like me, I come here without permission.
June 11, 2013 4:50 pm at 4:50 pm #958404ahava282ParticipantGamanit, can you suggest any names?
June 11, 2013 4:57 pm at 4:57 pm #958405HaLeiViParticipantIt means that there are few Tzeddikim in every generation that get to enter the heavenly chambers. Even fewer can enter whenever they want, even without permission.
June 11, 2013 6:11 pm at 6:11 pm #958406ToiParticipantna nach nachma nachman me’uman!
June 11, 2013 6:15 pm at 6:15 pm #958407Sam2ParticipantHaLeiVi: By “even fewer” I assume you meant “only one in history”.
June 11, 2013 6:24 pm at 6:24 pm #958408🐵 ⌨ GamanitParticipantR’ Chaim Kanievsky, R’ Yaakov Meir Schechter…

Here is a list but its certainly not everyone and if I skip anyone its not on purpose. Make sure you take along a translator who speaks Hebrew and Yiddish as well as English of course to translate for you unless you speak Hebrew well in which case you will possibly only need a Yiddish translator.

June 12, 2013 12:03 am at 12:03 am #958413Derech HaMelechMemberWIY: have you ever been to Rav Gamliel Rabinowitz? I used to go there often and I think I’ve met people from all over America there. I never realized he was so famous in America.
June 12, 2013 12:38 am at 12:38 am #958414WIYMemberahava282
You are welcome!
Derech HaMelech
Never went and now I regret it. I hope to go someday. Yes he’s quite popular with Americans.
