I saw this article that asked why do we need tragedy to unify us?
It’s a good question. In pleasant times, we just don’t think about it until somethings happens that wakes us up. But now we are in a situation that is very difficult to resolve. We need to show Hashem that we are serious, by continuing to work on our self and keeping up the achdus. Every effort counts.
