Does anyone know or recall any songs or tunes used to help kids learn and remember the parshios in the Torah?

I know a tune for Sefer bereishis, but the one song doesn’t help to remember all five sifrei Torah.

Any other tips would also be appreciated.

My daughter learned the parshios to the tune of ‘twinkle twinkle little star’.

    Thank you.

She was able to remember all chamishei chumshei Torah with one tune?

We get to the middle of Shemos and then the confusion starts.

I don’t remember what CD it was, but there was an old one where they had a song for all of the parshios- it started, “In Bereishis we begin learning Torah- how precious we hold our mesorah. Bereishis Noach Lech-Lecha…” and continued all through the sefarim. “Shemos is sefer number two- out of Mitzrayim with Moshe Rabbeinu…” “Vayikra is sefer number three- come and learn about the korbanos with me…”

I’d love to know where that one came from. I still use it whenever I need to remember the order of parshiyos.

The Gemara is Torah shebaal peh, it is all based on the Chumas which is Torah Shebiksav if you realize every Gemara quotes pesukim and makes various drashos from those pesukim. It is important to have a grasp of chumash to better understand gemara and to know the general concepts the the gemara is discussing. Torah shebichsav is like an outline and the gemara fills in the blanks with all the details.

I believe the tune writersoul referenced was from 613 Torah Avenue. It worked for my entire class to learn the order of all of Chumash.

    Thanks, Sam2!

I really should have remembered that. That was seriously my childhood.
