I know there’s a lot of excitement about this truck driver who won over the democratic president of the NJ senate. But from what’s coming out, it seems like he’s no angel himself, between throwing shade on other religions and spreading the lies about the election, among other incendiary remarks. To me he seems like exactly what he is: a far right truck driver. Are we celebrating too early?
The truth is that in this age, you can never ever run for any kind of office if you ever said something stupid, controversial, or offensive even once on your life. Or if you ever did something שלא כהוגן or anything embarrassing at all, they’ll chap you on it.
So we end up with the most bland, boring, mediocre, non controversial candidates who never accomplished or did anything useful in their life. The kind of person who never makes mistakes is the same person who never does anything and is useless. But as long as they’re picture perfect, that’s who’s pushing politics.Shimon,

That’s true. It is part of the cancel culture concept. It is silly how they’d pull comments of a private person as proof of policy.
This guy better surround himself with educated people, or else he’ll just be the right’s version of AOC.
I think people aren’t so excited that he won, more the fact that a no name truck driver who spent $150 on his campaign won over a 11 year Democrat. It shows that the American people are done with life-long politicians who don’t get much done!
