    There has been a huge spike in the theft of new car wheels/rims which can prove very costly. There is an antidote and inexpensive, purchase 4 lock-nuts, one for each wheel (between $20-30 dollars. Times are hard….

    They come along with a key, that fits into the lugwrench. There is also a code that comes along each set, so if you ever lose the key, you can have a new one made. If you lose the key AND the code, don’t get a flat tire….

    The set of locknuts come with a special key, like a socket that fits over the unusually shapped nut with a standard shape nut on the other end. You keep this key in your glove compartment or in your trunk next to your jack.

    With a lug-wrench. Sometimes a spray of “liquid wrench” will help loosen the lug-nuts.

    we had our licence plates stolen so we put the new ones on with one-way screws, you need to drill them out if they need removing
