Hi everyone.
I work from home and am quite lonely. I feel kinda down… Just need a boost. Any volunteers?
August 21, 2013 3:09 am at 3:09 am #971478Oh Shreck!ParticipantDown?!? Lucky you – you have a job! Many don’t. That’s why they post away somewhere (lashon hara to say where).
My idea would be to get real LIVE caring friends. It’s not the same, but of course folks here could also brighten your day, boost and lift your spirits. But it shouldn’t be a substitute.
What would you need us to volunteer?

Oh Shreck: Maybe her live friends are already asleep. And while I agree that virtual friendship is only a “temporary fix”, so is a soothing cup of hot cocoa, so it is worth something.

ok, Yes i have time for one post, do chesed! Find a hobby! Go out! Dont be embarrsesed to be an older single, (if you are one) have fun and meet new people!!!!
The CR is a nice place to post in spare time, and can cheer you up once in a while. Other times getting advice anonymously is a good idea (SOMETIMES) because we will rebuke you, and not only help. But real friends are a nessesity, we are just a fill in at sometimes!
Hope eeverything goes well, will be davening for you
