Do people live there anymore?

Yes.there is a Jewish Community there.There are people there that are associated with the Yeshiva(The Mesifta of Long Beach) that lives there as well.

flatbush27–ya my grandparents live there and i think (besides for yeshiva families) the avarage age is 75–im not joking they have a youth group in their shul(not the mesivta type-dont think yw will let me get more personal then that lol) and just last week they were telling me that they have 3 kids in their shul!!

actually i no someone there who is 17…or 16…or 18 or something like that
i think people should start going there for winter vacation instead of florida. florida is sooooo old school and not in anymore and plus with the recession. i think long beach has a beach so just bundle up and go there. anyone interested in going partnership in a hotel over there? we’ll call it “make believe its florida”

that doesnt solve the money issue. with la or florida your paying for a flight
