Does anyone have a good high school that I can attend to? It has to be non-lubavitch, with children who have trouble learning. Thanks!!!

    Are you male or female?

    For what age?

    What kind of trouble learning?

    What is your geographic region?

There is a school in the five towns called Darchei (Noam?) that caters well to learning differences, there was an article about it in Mishpacha Magazine sometime this past year.

I believe Birchas Shmuel has a ninth grade (Rabbi Wallerstien)avenue L and east 15th

yeshiva in five towns is Darchei Torah (Rabbi Bender)

Just btw “trouble learning” is a very vague statement: it could mean that the boy has slight learning disability, doesn’t have the means to sit through long shiur,or is just a boy whose learning skills are not so strong. I assume you are in brooklyn

Hi. Thanks for writing back. I am a male, and i have learning disabilities. I am located in Albany NY. I am behind on my hebrew studies. Right now, i am in 9th grade, but im in 7/8 grade for hebrew and have a tutor for math, social studies and science. I am lubavitch, but i think a non lubavitch school would work for me because its not so advanced then lubavitch schools

I am either looking for a High school when im in 10th grade or 11th grade. I am now 17 years old. I used to go to Public school until I was in 4th grade, then i repeated 4th grade when i switched to a Jewish school. Thank you for taking the time for looking. Please let me know the name of the school and website (if applicable)

c)- The problem goes like this.

    – Because there were extreme cases of people with learning disabilities, the term ‘learning disabilities’ was born by special educators and the like.

So then people that were mildly having trouble learning were grouped in with the extreme label of ‘learning disabilities’, like a diagnosis

So now you have people, who only mildly have trouble learning, who have been robbed of their self-esteem as well, to the stigmatization of a diagnosis of special educators.

Yeshiva Darchei Torah (5 Towns) will group everyone together, so that everyone feeds off the others’ strengths.

Ok. If I cant find a school thats only learning disabilities, at least an intergrated school. Does the yeshiva have a dorm for out of towners? Do they have a website?
