I want to get a sefer to review and learn about practical kitchen halachos.
It should be in English, but provide sources. I enjoy reading footnotes.
Your recommendations?
The Kosher Kitchen by Rabbi Binyomin Forst (Artscroll).
For Shabbos, The Shabbos Kitchen by R’ S.B. Cohen.
R’ Willig has an excellent Sefer (and provides tons of Mekoros) on Bishul and warming food on Shabbos. It’s pretty comprehensive and more in-depth than R’ Cohen’s, whose Sefer is also excellent.
