NA? For Purim? Is that Nosh Anonymous?
February 28, 2012 7:19 pm at 7:19 pm #856415BowwowParticipantI assume you are joking, but it stands for Narcotics Anonymous.

No joking Ive seen people attempt to “celebrate Purim” using pharmecuticals

February 28, 2012 9:17 pm at 9:17 pm #856418commonsenseParticipantBowwow I am impressed with your determination! Hatzlocha Rabba!
February 28, 2012 9:39 pm at 9:39 pm #856419yehudawMemberHatzlacha rabbah in your endeavour.
February 28, 2012 10:15 pm at 10:15 pm #856421more_2MemberYehuda w, depending on how great you are your bracha might come true, who knows…
Btw;- I would strongly advise you not to have your real name up here…
February 28, 2012 11:37 pm at 11:37 pm #856422BowwowParticipantYankie Doodle- Thank you for your concern but I am well in control and the AA / NA program is a big reason why. Purim can be a big test for people in recovery, that is why I am trying to put together a group to meet that day.
By the way if anyone out there is suffering and needs a medical professional find out how to contact me off of this board and I’ll give you the name of the person who saved my life.
February 29, 2012 4:44 pm at 4:44 pm #856424BTGuyParticipantHi Bowwow.
No, I was serious. There is a Nosh Anonymous for Purim. It was started by Phil W.
Anyway, hatzlacha in your twelve step endeavor!
And mostly, all the best to all those affected by someone who is addicted.
