rav binyamin says: everyone is blind until Hashem lightens their eyes, as we see in the pasuk, “Hashem opened her eyes and she saw the jug”April 24, 2011 6:15 pm at 6:15 pm #760924Little Sally SaucerMember
hie; i think you’re supposed to say “alokai d’meir aneiny” 3 times at the endApril 24, 2011 6:45 pm at 6:45 pm #760925
little sally saucer, i never heard of that, interesting, i guess i will from now onApril 24, 2011 6:57 pm at 6:57 pm #760926always hereParticipant
I thought you’re supposed to put some tzeduka into a Rabbi Meir Bal HaNess pushka, & say something with his name in it (to be your shaliach).April 24, 2011 7:06 pm at 7:06 pm #760927☕️coffee addictParticipant
you don’t have to say that Little saucer, Amar Rav Binyamin will just do. Some also give tzedakah to R’ Meir Baal HaNess but you can just give tzedakah stamApril 24, 2011 7:15 pm at 7:15 pm #760928
ya, i forgot about the tzeddakaApril 24, 2011 7:38 pm at 7:38 pm #760929WolfishMusingsParticipant
Silly me. I guess plain ol’ tefillah just isn’t effective. 🙁

it’s in the anneini siddur for special prayers, in the table of contents it says ‘prayer for lost object’- and it does include giving tzedaka
