I have a lot of things to complain about, I’m sure, regarding things that other people are doing. But when I try to articulate what all of those things are, all the lines between them start to blur and I can’t figure out what to focus on and how to say it. But I don’t want to give the impression that everything is hunky dory. It’s not. People are generally doing things wrong, in fact, mostly in the exact opposite way that they ought to. Moshiach will never come if things keep up this way, since they are undoubtedly worse than they ever were. I would be very thankful if someone else could take the lead for once and express my kvetches for me. A guy is entitled to an off night every now and then.
Well, for one thing, there are meshugoim in di velt who seem to start many conversations but not respond to those who reply.
Things people do wrong:
1. Not toasting almonds before putting them in salads.
2. Eating coconut. The entire activity is inherently flawed. The same thing applies to any coconut byproducts.
