As wrong as it may seem, purely from a emotion, political free perspective, did Mamdani have a point in his PC speech about the islamist terror attack outside his own place?
Meaning, yes one may argue that anti islamist takeover is very far from “abhorrent” as he stated, it IS a REAL issue (unlike he thinks maybe because he’s one himself), it is a very big problem.
However, he made a point of free speech, and to be fair, he has a point, and, there are pluses and minuses to that.
The pluses are well, as you can see, some people were able to hold their anti islamist takeover protest, and the minuses are that people like Mamdani are allowed to as well. No…?
To say some of the stuff he has said in the past may not fall under that category, being that incitement cannot be included in free speech, however, as ludicrous as it may be for him to say so, all he said was he abhorred it, but upheld its rights, as it is free speech…
What do you guys think?March 10, 2026 10:07 am at 10:07 am #2523012Yaakov Yosef AParticipantHe is living and working [as mayor] in the USA, so he has to at least pay lip service to American rules. That doesn’t stop the Muslims and other vilde chayos from seeing which direction the wind is blowing in NYC. The Constitution and Bill of Rights were wonderful when most of the population of the USA were people who actually believe in those values. But now more often than not, the Constitution is invoked to ‘protect’ people who have no interest in anyone’s freedom other than their own.

And since attack was by private citizens on other private citizens, it doesn’t raise constitutional issues, since the First Amendment only restricts the government (it would be assault with intent to kill, and perhaps acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign power).

March 11, 2026 4:03 pm at 4:03 pm #2523693pure yiddishkeitParticipantMamdani, notwithstanding his crazy, wacko, extreme, socialist, islamist takeover strategy, made a point about free speech, and to be fare, it is true.
Basically, I want to know what others say about it here, as it ties into the basic Constitutional right of free speech, but if you see the comment by @Yaakov Yosef A, he basically sums up my opinion, what do you say?
March 11, 2026 4:03 pm at 4:03 pm #2523699pure yiddishkeitParticipant@Yossi Name Edited,
I am assuming by that smiley that you’re just having some fun, but know the truth. Here in London we have been suffering enough for a good few years now from the wests first muslim mayor aka Sad-IQ Kahn, a corrupt swindler and liar who promises than does the opposite, makes fun of anyone and everyone calling him out, knowing his hijab buddies will bail him out and vote him in again…..
Just beware what this mamdumi weirdo will get to, now he’s just incompetent and idiotic, if you keep him there too long, it will get bad and dangerous…March 11, 2026 4:03 pm at 4:03 pm #2523753Yossi Name EditedParticipantvotekosher – when you show us your doctorate in psychiatry, we will continue this discussion. Otherwise, as they say in Yiddish: ??? ????!
March 29, 2026 10:58 am at 10:58 am #2530932ujmParticipantThe Mayor attended the major annual pre-Pesach Chasdei Lev food distrubution organized by the Frum community.
We can officially confirm the Mayor is no longer The Big Boogeyman he was made out for by the Zionists.
