Extra! Extra!
I’ve been officially anointed by Sir Moderator 72 as the CR Marketing Manager.
My first step as manager will be to implement the following:
Each member of the chashuva CR must email 5 friends- inviting them to join the CR.
For those concerned with privacy, there is no need to reveal you screen name to your friends.
In addition, follow up is a necessary part of this new marketing policy.
Further suggestions to improve the current state of the silent summer CR are largely welcome.

very good. great catch 80. however, you forgot about the grandfather clause in the intro to Edition 2.v5 – also known as the 171rule (72 and 99) in which 72 and 99 are not bound by limitations expounded upon in editions post edition 1.v2a.
Last I checked the edition you quoted from is from is 3.v1… how about some more coffee over here (and no grumbling)…
and um..it seems the coffee machine isn’t working again. I don’t understand why this seems to always happen during my shift. Perhaps if certain Moderators would learn to be more polite, it might happen less often.

Does inviting old members back count toward our marketing quota?
Unfortunately, if the old members aren’t reading they won’t know that they are being invited back so someone has to email or approach them in person

now to talk tachlos:
-as much as i would want to increase the total of CR Members in the CR, i will not email friends about this wonderful place! for the reason of, that i do sound like myself in the CR! and don’t wanna risk blowing my cover! however if i can suggest an option here, maybe the Editor/YWN can send out a mass email to all YWN Members informing them about the CR?! in that email it should rant and rave about this amazing CR and have thread titles in there too that are exciting thread!
-wow, new CR job for me! i’m pretty swamped with all my duties as Chairman of the CR, but i will do my best with this new job of mine! but i need my partner in this job’s help though! my writing skills are not the greatest!(like on elementary school level-yes i even had to use spell check to spell elementary!)

This is a great idea!
A simple way to spread the word about the CR – when there is a funny/interesting etc thread or post, email the link to your friends. You don’t even need to tell them that you post in the CR, you can just say “Hey – check out this funny thread” and include the link.
