    HG,

On Mensa, I assume that one is an outcast if he or she uses incorrect grammar, but I doubt that’s the case in most chat rooms.

Wouldn’t Facebook be dependent upon the specific people with whom the user interacts? It seems rather broad to say that Facebbook is a repository of proper grammar.

    SaysMe,

I agree. Would you say, though, that constantly correcting others’ spelling and punctuation errors fits into the rude or kind category?

it depends how it is done. sometimes i find it irritating and sometimes i appreciate those posts. I happen to holes in this specific argument of haifagirl’s too 🙂

But regardless, 2 wrongs don’t make a right. I don’t think haifagirl means to be rude, and i don’t think a biting comment is a proper reply

It’s ok, you can stay there and not bother us about grammer. We don’t really care.

    It’s “grammar.”

Actually, it’s grammer. Grammar, you wouldn’t have to bother anyone. 🙂
