Some will even let you make an appointment to bake matzoh there and your kids can help with the baking. You don’t have to buy a lot of matzoh to do this, even a few pounds is okay.

My chaburah went to bake this past Sunday. We were hampered by little kids going back and forth watching and getting in the way. its difficult to carry matzos to the ‘reidler” (hole maker)while dodging back and forth.
Then you have the issue of “helpers”. every kid over 8 or so wants to get into the action and help. the problem is, WE HAVE A CHABURAH for a REASON. we want to ensure that the baking is done according to our standards. Parents letting their kids “help” may work for them, but they’re MY matzos, not yours.

My kids went to Crown Heights with their school, but I don’t have any details about the bakery or how the school arranged it.
