i am leaving the cr for good!! i see over recent weeks the cr has seemed to attract a really obnoxious crowd.

There is a store called Battaglia on Kings Highway and east 7th or 8th in Brooklyn that has very nice dress shirts, with unusual buttons. I don’t remember the brand names, but they have a pretty large selection.
Is there something to square button shirts? Better cotton? Buttons hold better? snazzy look? Have you seen them on people?
cshapiro, your question was legit. i dont know why ppl busted your chops. some did offer ideas tho so don’t leave cz of the wise guys. they think they are funny. it’s easier to simply ignore those.

I get all my shirts at a shirt store outlet in Herald Square, and always buy french cuff shirts, albeit much cheaper than any shirt store in BP.
I don’t wear short sleeve shirts, because the last time I did so in the 1980’s, my arms got burned by the sun, and it was too hot to wear a jacket, so by wearing long sleeved shirts in summer, I don’t require a jacket to protect my arms from the sun blaze.

I want to apologize for being taken as obnoxious. I never intended to be rude, and I hope you will forgive me.
Based on my own ignorance, I had no clue there is such a thing to prefer in a shirt something like square buttons. I truly did not know.
Often times there are posts here meant to be tongue-in-cheek, and it is not easy to determine in 100% of the cases.
In any event, I apologize.
Secondly, I cannot answer your question and I dont even think I have seen dress shirts with square buttons, or maybe would not have noticed.
I tried amazon.com and all I found were “Harvard Square” brand shirts and shirts with square hems or square cuffs.
I would imagine a good suit shop can give you an immediate and accurate reply on obtaining such shirts.
u can have shirts custom made there are plenty of places that do it for u and im sure they will do any kind of bottons for u like for example shirt sleeves and ben barber both in bp
There is a brand from Canada, that makes cool shirts, with square buttons. Its Brogota.
why are square buttons so important? omg ppl! buttons doesnt help u serve Hashem!! get a grip on life!
