I saw a short on a DVD about the Mishkan recently released by Art Scroll. The DVD looked incredible, I was wondering if any one has either seen or bought it recently? I am interested in the first impression after viewing the DVD.
There was an article in the Mishpacha about it a few weeks ago. Looks very good!
it’s wonderful! the level of detail, and the amount of research that went into it, is amazing! my kids love to watch it. there is a video section, where you can watch different Keilim being made (love it when the gold zooms across the wood to cover it!), and then an interactive part where you can move around the Mishkan, zoom in, rotate, etc. you can really get an excellent visual idea of how it was. it is especially nice if you are familliar with the Parsha of Teruma, and the gemaras on it. three of my kids are learning Teruma this year, so I bought it at Chanuka. Definately worth it! Kosher entertainment at its best!
i saw part of it. really interesting, a very new concept that makes it much easier to picture in real life.
smh1: we also liked the gold covering the wood 🙂
