    If you want to get rid of troll threads, maybe don’t let brand new accounts create threads until they’ve reached a posting and/or time threshold.

    Nice idea. Posting threshold would be better because with a time threshhold they would simply create new accounts and leave them inactive until the curfew passes

    I’d imagine that users who are here for five months and have already responded to 43 threads would be able to start a discussion.

    Posting threshold wont work either because they will just make a few innocent postings to get their account approved.

    I think it would be a good idea to add personal blockers to people we suspect to be trolls (even though I don’t think ywn’s website accomodates for that)

    Following threads is complicated enough due to the moderation delay. Imagine if the thread was going in opposite directions because two groups of posters aren’t seeing each others posts.
