“Morality is essential because it serves as the foundational framework for social cohesion, trust, and cooperative survival. It acts as an internal compass that helps individuals distinguish right from wrong, guiding ethical decision-making and fostering strong interpersonal relationships based on respect and empathy. By establishing shared standards of acceptable behavior, morality enables societies to function smoothly, ensuring that citizens can rely on one another for mutual benefit and security.

Without morality, society would likely descend into chaos, characterized by widespread distrust, conflict, and the breakdown of civil order. In such a scenario, individuals would act solely in their self-interest, disregarding the rights and needs of others, which would make long-term planning, economic cooperation, and community living nearly impossible. The absence of moral constraints would erode the legal and social systems that protect citizens, leading to a fragmented existence where safety and stability are severely compromised”
I will say one thing. And to be clear I do hold deep resentment. But the most horrible things I’ve been through, horrible betrayal and the worst cruelty I’ve ever experienced came from……people from within our socioty. I think we say we are just but really corruption and cruelty and capacity for extreme action is actually built into our ideology.
We claim moral superiority but yet if we don’t put emphasis on actual morality we become animals. And horrible things happen in the name of conformity and ideology.
That’s why my world view is the way it is. Because of my terrible experiences. Let that be a warning. Because God is not complacent. He is not silent. All wrongs have a Devine reaction. There is a court in heaven. And the consenquences and payment as much as they say happen after death, it happens in real time in real life. So don’t test God. You don’t get away with _anything_ on earth.
If a collective is suffering, it’s their actions, that may be causing it. Looking inward is the only way out

You make lot’s of strong points here. I’m sorry to here about you having gone through horrible things. I can relate and I’m sure so many others could too.
Betrayals and cruelty are the unfortonate outcome of demoralizing actions, esspecially when commited by those whom one relies on. Pain is real, consequences are real. May hashem give you the strength and courage to fight the rightous fight, and get closer to him.

    Missionary for what exactly?

we just disagree on _what_ God holds people accountable for. That’s all.
You think it’s if you miss tefillah with a minyan or you forgot to wash naigel vasser. and I think you get Devine wrath if your cruel purpously to somebody. We just disagree on when….

Happy new year honestly apology can never help…I don’t think there’s forgiveness for what was done. It’s not that I can’t move on. I live despite it but trust me I will _never_ forget. And I don’t think God will either

Why should God be complacent when somebody harms one of His creations. when they act with fake virtue and complete hypocrisy in name only but then do harmful things in the privacy of their personal choices.
God acts upon His anger because He’s a _just_ God. Because He’s a vengeful God. Because he defends the weak and the weary and the broken hearted. Because he puts bullies in thier place and holds people accountable for their wrongs. Because he does not stand by and let us get away with horrid behaviour. This is justice. And Devine justice. It’s not about conformity to dumb rules you put upon yourself to convince yourself you have fake virtue. This is about _real_ virtue and _real_ truth and _real_ morality. It’s called _accountability_

pure > funny you mention G-D is not complacent and there is a court room up there, yet you constantly spouse outright kefira in your comments,

I forgot who asks this question – that people are afraid of a lot of things in life, but somehow can behave with total disregard to the Creator of the world. The answer is that Hashem specifically gave people this power to keep the free choice operating. So, let the poster exercise his choice!

And I don’t think he is a missionary based on his consistent grammar errors in multi-syllable words of Latin origin. So, at least he is not educated in any western tradition. So, if he is not the victim of yeshivish education with additional readings, then he is some eastern european.
