December 3, 2015 10:21 pm at 10:21 pm #1114834HashemisreadingParticipantwhen I think of Moshe Yess I think of ” Who will be the Zaidy of my Children?”
Who?!
Will my descendants have anyone to turn to, look up to?
Who will be my grandchildren’s teachers, their role models? Who will be their gedolei hador?
Yeridas Hadoros is a fear that is so constant in my life. Does anyone else share the same thoughts on this?

It is also constant in my life, just ask my kids. i often tell them how worried i am for the challenges they may Gd willing face raising children in this crazy world. i honestly believe moshiach will be here way before then to rescue us all. it’s my only way of coping.
December 4, 2015 3:28 pm at 3:28 pm #1114836HashemisreadingParticipantSyag: that for sure true, but in my day to day life it can get hard to all have that constantly in mind.
I think a lot of it boils down to how desensitized we get. we are so influenced by the outside world and the western culture that we don’t even realize that crazy things are crazy. I feel like now everyone is so focused on being open-minded and accepting of everyone that we forget to condemn those who need to be condemned (even if we just think it to ourselves “I will not respect that”.)
We need to have more courage to stand up and say that’s wrong! we can not follow along with that, even if it looks fine.
We need more courage and confidence to stand apart!
