I strongly believe that Moshiach will soon come. I listen a lot to Rabbi Mizrahi.
He always says that people will be punished in Shamayim or when Moshiach comes when they do not keep Shabbat. I believe in his words…..still, I do not keep Shabbat. I recently tried at least to not go shopping on Shabbat…..but I am far away from what I should do.I often feel bad about it, but in the end I do not (have the strength to) change it.
I am interested in your comments

I believe his approach can help.February 24, 2021 8:26 am at 8:26 am #1951688Reb EliezerParticipantMaybe, Moshiach and Shabbos is related, as teshuva is necessary to bring Moshiach and Shabbos has the letters toshev to do teshuva.
February 24, 2021 8:47 am at 8:47 am #1951728Reb EliezerParticipantAlso a prerequisite for yom shekula shabbos, a day of complete rest, is the coming of Moshiach.
February 24, 2021 10:16 am at 10:16 am #1951782DaMosheParticipantReb Eliezer, “yom shekulo Shabbos” does not mean that it will be Shabbos all the time, with all the rules it includes. You think we won’t be allowed to do work at all?
I think it means something else. Shabbos is the bridge between the Olam haRuchni and the Olam haGashmi. On Shabbos, the two worlds connect. I think Yom shekulo Shabbos refers to the fact that when Mashiach comes, the 2 worlds will always be in sync, not just one day per week.February 24, 2021 1:04 pm at 1:04 pm #1951842Reb EliezerParticipantThe Ben Ish Chai says that shabbos unites which corrects the cause of the charbon, futile hatred. We say shabbos shalom because it unites the body and soul when we have a sudah lashem shomayim as a shalomim unites us with Hashem.
February 24, 2021 1:10 pm at 1:10 pm #1951849yid1818ParticipantI know, I should do tshuva and keep shabbat… but I do not have the strength (and environment?) to do it.
I feel bad about it but don’t change it….and I hope that hashem will forgive me for that…
February 24, 2021 2:42 pm at 2:42 pm #1951881Reb EliezerParticipantyid1i18, go to a Rabbi and ask what you can do. Also honor Hashem to write It with a capital letter.

February 24, 2021 2:44 pm at 2:44 pm #1951893MadeAliyahParticipantWhy don’t you reach out to Aish or a similar organization? I’m sure they can provide you with the guidance and support that you need.
They can also introduce you to other jews in the same situation. That might give you a positive environment and help you find the strength to continue.
Wishing you much Hatzlachah. Your journey is an inspiration for us all.
