    All I see on their site is Nefesh BNefesh trying to market towards American charedis considering aliyah. It says they’re going to have two zoom seminars discussing frum schools and frum communities.

    Which American Chareidim are moving to EY? Chasidim are staying put. Lakewood is growing.

    Don’t you know that there’s a Lakewood East starting this moment now in Eretz yisroel? So you actually can go to Eretz yisroel and be in Lakewood at the same time and still be learning Torah and doing Teshuva in Eretz yisroel as we beg Hashem seriously for the coming of Mashiach already bkarov

    my suggestion to you is that you take the plunge and do it, you posted 3 times the same subject just in various forms, and you posted no other topics.

    I moved from Lakewood to RBS and BH very happy I did.
    It’s more doable than ever before and although it may not be for everyone, if you really want it you can too!

    I hear that Nefesh B’Nefesh is claiming there is a huge uptick in Frum families moving to EY. something like a 10 percent jump since last year.

    Avira-you’re probably referring to the yeshiva Lakewood East (BMG of Lakewood in E. Israel) run by Rav Shwartzman, Shlita. I think what Sam was referring to was that there were several people in Lakewood that are starting/started 2 Lakewood style communities in EY.

    Go take a trip to Israel for a few weeks and literally move into the Lakewood community to see what it feels like to live there as if your thinking about moving there. Even if you end up going back home and not moving there, it’s still worth the experience.

    There’s no mitzvah to live in America.

    Correct, there’s no Mitzvah. I am simply stating an observation.

    @Jewish12345

    What’s a Lakewood style community in Isreal??

    Good question. Once upon a time there were cities that were referred to as Yerushalayim d'(fill in the blank). Those were choshuva places. I assume that a Lakewood community in EY would have all the “comforts” of Lakewood with patting themselves on the back that they “live in EY”. Not really choshuv IMHO.

    Lakewood style is saying Lemayseh, Lechorah, Hock and Ich her in every sentance at least twice.
