Hey Shevy,although I don’t know you,I feel like I was rude to you and I should apologize. Understand that it was not you personally I was angry at,it was the idea of someone leaving ther children and going away for a good time while leaving their babies home to miss them. I have nothing against you personally,we have different opinions. You want to go,and I would rather not leave my kids. So be it. If everyone was the same in this world then it would be a very boring world! Our differences help color the world.
So,go,have a great time,please be safe,I dont want to hear of any stories in the news!
You should go with mazal. Your children should not miss you too much,it should be easy for savta to watch over them and most of all you should rest up and rejuvenate yourself and take this special time to enjoy the company of your husband.

Esther- thanks for understanding the “other” side.
I just wanted to point out to you, that if the child will miss the parents so terribly, to the point where he’ll be miserable nd crying all day, then the parents will usually NOT leave them over.
We only leave our beloved children behind if we know they’ll be happy & well taken care of while we’re gone.
i wish all of us would tkae the high road like ester….including me its easy to get caught up
