Idk why this is. I don’t think I poast any worse than the other poasters here.

Mods, you guys are the only ones who can tell me why.

    I love you guys.

The YWN mods are taking pity on you. They know that your Rebbe holds that the internet is shmad, and that you have no approval to be here.

I dont have anything nice to say.

    A) Moderation Memos:

Aside from >Y.W. Editor’s rules<, we feel it would benefit the participants of the Yeshiva World Coffee Room to know which posts are unlikely to be approved due to technical reasons.

    1. Long posts are difficult to moderate. See this thread:
    >Moderation Memo<

Tip: Breaking up long posts into several shorter ones might help.

    2. Links are generally not approved. Exceptions are: Links to articles and other features (e.g. Coffee Room topics and posts) on YWN, and links to pages of a sefer on

    3. Posts which appear to infringe upon copyrights will not be approved. We don’t have time to research the source for all such posts.

Tip: If a copied text does come from a public source, you can send a link in a separate post marked for moderators’ reading only. This does not guarantee approval, but might help.

    4. It is easier to delete a post than to edit it. If even a small part of a post is objectionable, we will often delete the entire post.

Tip: if you think part of your post might be deleted, either leave it out, or post that part separately.

Welcome to the Yeshiva World News Coffee Room.

    YWN Coffee Room Posting Rules
Loshon Hara and other inappropriate speech

2 – Loshon Hara will not be tolerated at all. We are not and will not become Lashon Hara central (keep this in mind when starting a thread).

4 – Understand that this site is called The Yeshiva World and use appropriate expressions. Do not try to slip in double meanings. Understand what is typed is not always what is read (tone).

    Topic and tone

1 – All posts must be kept on topic.

2 – If your post was deleted, please don’t post asking us why your post was deleted. It was deleted because we felt that there was something inappropriate, off topic etc. Do not resubmit deleted posts.

3 – Do not use excessive CAPS.

4 – Before starting a new topic do a quick check to see if the topic exists.

5 – Please try to post in a language somewhat resembling English. Visit if you need help. Mozilla Firefox browser also offers a spellcheck option. If your comment is not written in normal English, it will not be approved.

6 – Yeshiva World encourages people to start new threads. Please make sure to put that thread in the correct section of the coffee room. If you think that we should add a section , please email one of the moderators.

    Personal Info

1 – Please don’t try to pry out personal information. Any questions or comments directed towards trying to “figure out” a blogger’s identity will not be tolerated.

2 – Personal email addresses or websites will not be published. Posts that ask others to meet them at “Plonis” will not be approved. Should a blogger continuously try to pry personal information from others, he/she will be booted from YWN
One user name per person. Period! If there is a need to drop an existing user name and adopt a new user name (e.g. personal information has been compromised), let us know so that we do not unitentionally “out” you.

2 – You may request a post be deleted either by email or by another post. We will review and take appropriate action.

Any screenname deemed inappropriate will have its posts rejected automatically.

From the stickies on the top

Thank you coffee, a 5 star poster.

Perhaps if you “posted”, more of your “poasts” would go through. Also, you should be pushing the “submit” link in the lower right corner of the screen rather than the “delete” link in the upper right corner.

“2 – Loshon Hara will not be tolerated at all. We are not and will not become Lashon Hara central (keep this in mind when starting a thread).”

Now, I don’t care who you are: that’s funny right there.

“Thank you coffee, a 5 star poster“

    Now, about that mod position…….

    CL – Mine also.
As a matter of fact, they are posting my SN and not my post.
This is making fun of me.

Mods do you have an explanation?!?

I thought that YWN got their tips copyrighted…

Let’s apply poasts to posts that boast.

Don’t feel bad, mine don’t get through either.

Really? What did you post that didn’t go through?

    Just Another Yid

i think that this is a good hashkafah question maybe you should ask it on Thursday night at your local cholent hole

Mods….. This conversation is about poasts, not about posts.

    Reb Eliezer

According to the yahoo understanding, a post becomes a poast when popular.

Maybe five star poster can become Coffee’s subtitle.

Subtitles sadly went away years ago

    Dear Coffee,

Last night I went on a journey to pages where these things still existed.

    ☕️coffee addict

    I hope it was fun

    Welcome back to the present

I brought back some real poasts.

My posts don’t go thru either. The ones that do are defaced with black ink by bored people who can’t use quotation marks correctly.

you sound annoyed, better I shouldn’t respond I guess

    n0m: how old be you?
