Does anyone have info on Nachlas? Specifically, what are their hashkafos? What type of girls go there? What is their advantage over other seminaries?
nachalas puts itself next to Hadar and BJJ. They are still new so are trying to place themselves. From the girrls who went there i only heard good things. Good ehrlich, tznius torahdik girls. Just to note.. Their location is amazing.. that is to bump into any and every yeshiva bochur in EY learning in the Mir or Brisk. They are on teh corner of Shmuel Hanavi and Bar Ilan.
It has a beutiful dorm too..
I must correct Not I. Not I is right that they will be bunping into bochurim all day, but wrong about which bochurim. It is next to R’ Tzvi Kaplan’s, R’ Dovid Soloveitchik’s, R’ Eichenstein’s among others, but not Mir or Brisk.
Poor guys, minding their own bussiness for years over there away from all the sem’s. Then Nachlas decides to move into their hood.
Nachlas has solid, well-rounded girls who are bnos aliyah. They are academic but know how to have fun. Their hashkafos are to teach the girls to come to their own conclusions and do what’s right without telling them exactly what to do. Because of this approach, the girls grow in a solid way, without all the fluff. They are unique in that their mission statement is warmth. They treat the girls like family and are there for anything you need. For example, when I was in sem I got sick while the principals were in America giving interviews which is obviously a very hectic and busy time for them. I received a message on my cell phone while they were traveling from 1 city to the other wishing me a refuah shleima and letting me know that they were thinking of me. That is just one of the countless examples I can think of, of their warmth and care. And you’re right, they are definitly in a great location which means they don’t have 2 be hanging out in Geula to get things they need….
