Tomer, Ofer and Ro-ee are modern Israeli names. Not Ashdenazi or S’fardi.

Some S’fardi names are: Tzion, Rachamim, Mazal, and different English or French names, depending which country they came from.

Alot of Sephardim have Israeli names but so do the Ashkenazim. If you want something that really sounds Sephardic (Spanish) and not “Israeli” I would go with GumBalls sugestions of Fortune (Mazal) and I would also add Gloria(Simcha),Reina(Malka),Blanca, Estrella(Esther), Perla(Penina), etc.

There are also the Biblical names like Raquel (Rachel) Rebecca (Rivka), Sara, etc. Ps. Pronunciation is key!

Boys:Simon (Shimon), Jaime (Chaim),Jacobo(Yakov),Yoseph, Manuel (Emmanuel),Moises (Moshe), etc.

Depending also on which type of Sephardi you are the names can come from all over. You really need to be specific for which type of name you are looking for.

    Hope this was helpfull!

mustangrinder- “Jack, David (pronounced Daviiiid or the regular english way), Joey, Albert, Isaac, Sam, Danny…”

Jack and Albert are goyishe names. I dont know why you think they are Sephardic. Probably because you know some Sephardi kids/ppl that have them? Let me know if I’m wrong please.

Joey,Sam,and Danny is the nickname for Joseph, Samuel, and Daniel. Ashkenazim have them too.

ps. good job with the pronunciation. I wasnt sure how to right it in my previous post.

Jack is for Yaacov, Albert or Berah is for Avraham – some also use Alan, as for the others yes you are correct – they are nicknames, i used that version bec many dont use the full name, and i didnt know that ashkenazim also have them….

p.s. you’d be surprised by how many sefardim are named Jack.

as for israeli names dont forget – Guy, and Itai (i think they are boy names)also Yoram, Dudi, Uri
