Raise your hand if you’re NT and don’t enjoy dancing with flashing lights and loud music.
I believe not liking blaring music and flashing lights is human nature in all of us, to varying degrees. Everyone has their own “breaking point” though. And like smoking, if you’re exposed enough you may even begin to like it, and subsequently crave it…
Perhaps disliking loud noises is related to the physical condition of having functioning ears.
It’s a processing issue.
When it comes to ordinary loud sounds and bright lights, maybe. But things like Lag B’Omer fires and arcades don’t exist “in the wild”; they are a product of human design, so it’s not necessarily something wrong with the human.
sounds are electrical impulses no matter what the source is. And processing issues aren’t deficiencies.
My father, he should be well, told me that he remembers that the music at weddings in the pre late ’60’s era was not amplified. It seems though that shockingly those Kiddushins & Nisuins were nontheless chal and the couples were Halachicly married! I believe that if that was tried nowadays, doubt would be cast on the validity of such a marriage.

Are you a poseik, or are you quoting someone who was machshir them?
Autistic people can’t take noise and light
I’m definitely raising my hand here.
