Did anyone try the new Google browser yet? If you did, can you give some input on it?

Mine keeps shutting down at random times but otherwise perfect really great job by Google. Much faster than Firefox, I.E And Safari!

It looks nice and I like the homepage that shows the last pages you visited, but so far all I really do with it is use it to play Jewishbroadcast in the background while I use Firefox to do my real online work.
Editor, I’m using it now on YW. No need for adjusting as far as I can tell. In any event, its market share is approx. 1% currently, since it is only 2 weeks old. It should improve over time. But the thing I find most beneficial regarding it, is its unparalleled speed in displaying webpages. (Notably faster than even Firefox in my opinion.)

You got me just in time to do a quick check; it looks fine and in any case I would not do anything special for it until the browser is more established.
YW looks great on it! Works really fast literally opens up at the click of the mouse! No need to adjust anything but it would be a good idea if you can put the coffee room home page in a larger font. By the way I’ve noticed that you post the posts much faster now, keep it up!

Opera! Opera! Opera!
The only browser that allows you directly from the toolbar to click a button and no pictures are displayed (unlike Foxpro and IE where you have to go through a whole bunch of settings until you find it.)
So if you’re worried about tzniyus/pritzus (and who shouldn’t be when online,) then choose Opera.
My husband is OBSESSED with Opera. He loves it and loves that he can personalize everything.
My quick perusal of Chrome is good, but I need to really play around with it before I decide whether or not to use it.

Actually, what needs to be done is to have an Eretz Yisroel representative of the YWN Editor, since we here in EY don’t see all the updates till late afternoon at the earliest, and we have to go a whole morning wondering how the conversation will turn out.
I believe – and correct me please if I’m wrong – that Yechiel Spira has the adminstrative permission to update the site with his stories. I doubt that the YWN Editor is up when it’s 11:00AM here (4:00AM NY time), and yet the stories appear a minute or two after they occur – such as on the black day of the “murderer-for 2 bodies” exchange a few months back, when Spira immediately posted his report.
Maybe YWN should appoint someone such as Yechiel for the Coffeeroom as well.
I second Kitzur’s motion!
Editor, perhaps you can add moderator’s to the coffee room so comments can be posted quicker – especially helpful for those of us in Eretz Yisroel and away from the EST zone.
kitzur_dot_net, there is a add-on to Firefox called ImgLikeOpera that I always use. I keep pictures turned off at all times (except some filters that turn them on for sites like YW) and I can right-click individual pictures to show the, or click the button on the toolbar to show all pictures from the current site. It’s a great add-on and I highly recommend it to all who use Firefox. (I also recommend using FlashBlock and AdBlockPlus)
YW Editor, I recommend you add a Fight button, so we can fight with each other much faster and more efficiently than we do now.
